      Success stories

Breaking the cycle of early school leaving

Over 3 million young people in the EU lack a full secondary education,
reducing their prospects of employment and financial security. The
EU-funded SCIREARLY project turned decades of education research into
tools and policy guidance, empowering schools to tackle early school
leaving and underachievement across Europe.

Squeezing more from arthritis drugs to help patients live better

Although powerful treatments exist for rheumatoid arthritis, doctors
can’t always predict which drug will work best for each person. An
EU-funded initiative aims to change that by optimising and personalising
care.
