Dear Distinguished Academic Partners and Collaborating Institutions,

We are pleased to announce the International Training Workshop on 
*Frontiers from Quanta to Cosmos Physics (FQCP2025)*, which will be held 
at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), Yanqihu Campus, 
*Beijing, China, on 1-7 November 2025*, and at the Hangzhou Institute 
for Advanced Study, UCAS, *Hangzhou, China, on 8-14 November 2025.

FQCP2025 is an international educational and innovative training 
program, which is open to worldwide students with a Master’s degree or 
above, and will be held together with the 2nd ICTP-AP Winter School on 
Theoretical Physics. This training workshop will bring together experts 
from the fields of particle physics, gravity, and cosmology to introduce 
recent applications and advances of effective field theory in quantum 
field theory, dark matter, dark energy, and gravitational wave waveform 
construction. In addition to cutting-edge lectures, the workshop also 
arranged field trips, and during the event, multiple cross-cultural 
exchange activities will be held.

As part of the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable 
Development (IDSSD), this workshop is organized by ICTP-AP in 
partnership with ICTP, and aims to:
1) foster young scientific talents through the specialized training;
2) strengthen the global research networks and pave the way for 
collaborative opportunities;
3) advocate fundamental science in support of the United Nations’ 
sustainable development goals and build a community with a shared future 
for humankind.

We warmly invite your institution to recommend qualified graduate 
students and early-career researchers for participation. *Recommended 
candidates should register and submit their recommendation letter via 
email to ictp-ap at ucas.ac.cn no later than 12:00 Beijing Time on 1 
October 2025.* The organizing committee will cover the followings (not 
including international travel expenses):
• Local accommodation
• Daily meals during the workshop period
• All ground transportation (airport transfers & inter-venue shuttles)
• Workshop registration fees.
