Commission seeks feedback on the future Advanced Materials Act
The Commission has launched a call for evidence and a public
consultation, seeking input from all interested stakeholders to the
forthcoming Advanced Materials Act. A key deliverable of the
Competitiveness Compass, the Advanced Materials Act will aim at
establishing a strategic framework for advanced materials that is
crucial for industrial leadership, strategic autonomy and
competitiveness in the EU.
*Ekaterina Zaharieva*, Commissioner for Startups, Research and
Innovation, said:
/“We want Europe to be at the forefront of developing advanced
materials that are key to today’s and tomorrow's innovations. We
want to hear from everyone interested, researchers, businesses,
small and medium businesses, and policymakers, to build a strong
framework that supports industrial innovation and competitiveness.”/
