_Abstract_

We examine the nature of loop corrections during inflation, 
distinguishing between trivial contributions –removable by counterterms– 
and non-trivial ones that yield genuinely new physical effects. We 
identify the essential ingredients required for non-trivial loop 
corrections to tree-level observables and illustrate them in a simple 
and explicit scenario within the framework of the EFT of Inflation. We 
introduce a streamlined method for evaluating loop integrals using 
dimensional regularization, which facilitates the extraction of the UV 
contributions. We discuss issues encountered in the renormalization of 
observables in the in-in formalism.
