Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that registration to the 27th edition of the
Giambiagi School is now open. The deadline for registration is March 7.

This school will take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from July 21 to 26,
2025. The topics it will cover are holography, black holes, and the
applications of quantum information to quantum field theory and quantum
gravity. The list of confirmed speakers includes:

Pablo Bueno (Universitat de Barcelona, Spain)

Horacio Casini (Instituto Balseiro, Bariloche, Argentina)

José Edelstein (Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, Spain)

Johanna Erdmenger (Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, Germany)

Gaston Giribet (New York University, USA)

Juan Maldacena (Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton, USA)

Tadashi Takayanagi (Kyoto University, Japan)

Gonzalo Torroba (Instituto Balseiro, Bariloche, Argentina)

For the selection of applicants priority will be given to PhD students
working in the field, though postdocs and advanced undergraduates in
Physics are also encouraged to apply. Scholarships may be available
(subject to funding availability) to encourage participation from students
at Argentinian universities and other institutions across Latin America.
Participants will have the opportunity to present their research through a
limited number of talks and poster sessions.
