        New Scientific Council members and Vice-Presidents

Today, six new members of the ERC governing body, the Scientific 
Council, have been appointed by the European Commission. In parallel, 
three new ERC Vice Presidents have been elected by the Scientific Council.

        Consolidator Grant winners

The ERC has selected 349 mid-career researchers for this year's 
Consolidator Grants. With a total funding of over €728 million, the 
grants will support promising research in a wide variety of fields.
