We are pleased to announce the conference Quantum Physics: from 
Foundations to Emerging Technologies 
<https://indico.ictp.it/event/10838> taking place from 28 to 30 May at 
ICTP, and organized jointly with the Accademia dei Lincei on the 
occasion of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology.

The conference is aimed to a wide audience, and will focus on historical 
aspects and selected advances of quantum science and technology, as well 
as on their impact on society.

Invited speakers include Alain Aspect, Eric Cornell, David Gross, Duncan 
Haldane, Serge Haroche, Wolfgang Ketterle, Anne L'Huillier, Giorgio 
Parisi, and William Phillips.
