La Commissione Fulbright Italia <https://www.fulbright.it/>, in 
collaborazione con EducationUSA, invita studenti, dottorandi, 
ricercatori e docenti a partecipare a due presentazioni gratuite 
dedicate alle opportunità di studio, ricerca e insegnamento negli Stati 
Uniti attraverso il prestigioso *Programma Fulbright*.

I due incontri si terranno *martedì 8 aprile 2025* a *Trieste*:

La relatrice degli incontri sarà *Laura Cambriani*, Fulbright Italy–USA 
Northern Italy Representative, che illustrerà i programmi attivi, i 
requisiti per partecipare e i processi di candidatura.

Il *Programma Fulbright*, nato nel 1946, è il più antico e prestigioso 
programma di scambi accademici internazionali, attivo in oltre 160 
paesi. In Italia opera attraverso la *Commissione Fulbright*, fondata 
nel 1948, con l’obiettivo di promuovere la reciproca comprensione tra i 
popoli attraverso la cooperazione culturale e scientifica tra Italia e 
Stati Uniti. La Commissione Fulbright in Italia assegna oltre 100 borse 
di studio all’anno e conta circa 14.000 partecipanti tra cui 8 premi 
Nobel, 14 vincitori del Premio Pulitzer, sei borsisti che hanno ricevuto 
la MacArthur Fellowship, due ex Presidenti del Consiglio italiani e un 
senatore a vita italiano.

Durante gli incontri saranno presentate le borse di studio Fulbright 
rivolte a:

    Studenti universitari e neolaureati

  *

    Dottorandi e assegnisti di ricerca

  *

    Professori associati, ordinari e a contratto

  *

    Ricercatori in ambito accademico e scientifico

Particolare attenzione sarà dedicata alle *opportunità di ricerca negli 
USA* per studiosi italiani, così come alle possibilità offerte agli 
*scholar statunitensi* interessati a trascorrere un periodo di studio o 
insegnamento in Italia.

Le presentazioni sono aperte anche a *ricercatori e docenti 
internazionali* attualmente in Italia, interessati a conoscere le 
opportunità offerte dal Programma Fulbright per trascorrere un periodo 
negli Stati Uniti.

*Fulbright Opportunities for Students, Researchers, and Faculty – Two 
Events in Trieste on April 8, 2025*

The *Fulbright Commission Italy*, in collaboration with *EducationUSA*, 
invites students, PhD candidates, researchers, and faculty to attend two 
free presentations dedicated to study, research, and teaching 
opportunities in the United States through the prestigious *Fulbright 
Program*.

The two events will take place on *Tuesday, April 8, 2025*, in *Trieste*:

The speaker for both events will be *Laura Cambriani*, *Fulbright 
Italy–USA Northern Italy Representative*, who will present the current 
programs, eligibility criteria, and application processes.

The *Fulbright Program*, established in 1946, is the oldest and most 
prestigious international academic exchange program, active in over 160 
countries. In Italy, it is administered by the *Fulbright Commission*, 
founded in 1948, with the mission of promoting mutual understanding 
between nations through academic and cultural exchange between Italy and 
the United States.

The presentations will cover Fulbright grants available to:

  *

    University students and recent graduates

  *

    PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers

  *

    Associate, full, and adjunct professors

  *

    Researchers in academic and scientific fields

Special focus will be given to *research opportunities in the US for 
Italian scholars*, as well as the *opportunities available to American 
scholars* interested in spending a period of study or teaching in Italy.

The sessions are also open to *international researchers and faculty 
currently in Italy* who may be interested in learning more about 
Fulbright opportunities for spending time in the United States.

*Attendance is free and open to all interested participants.*
