La collezione Bonfanti: un viaggio nella storia dell'Informatica e del Calcolo

Trieste's Istituto Tecnico A. Volta is holding an open day dedicated to 
the figure of Corrado Bonfanti that will take place on Friday 11/04/2025 
at the Istituto Volta in Trieste. In the morning, it will be possible to 
visit the recently enlarged PSIC (Percorsi Storici dell'Informatica e 
del Calcolo) exhibition at the institute, which brings together more 
than 300 calculation instruments from 1600 to the present day, and the 
library collection (consisting of more than 1500 books from the 16th to 
the 20th century (on the most varied aspects of the history of 
informatics, mathematics and physics, and not only), of which about 
fifty are ancient and of great historical value), (both by appointment), 
while in the afternoon a number of seminars will be held.

The event (held in Italian) will also be streamed online.
