(Generalised) Complex Geometry Seminar

The next few meetings of the Complex Geometry Seminar will be devoted to a study group on generalised complex / generalised Kähler geometry. The first talk of the series will be given by Dan Aguero (SISSA) on Thursday, 17 October at 14:00 in room 136 (SISSA).

Title: Introduction to generalized geometry I

Abstract: In this lecture we are going to present some of the basic definitions of generalized geometry. We begin with the generalized tangent bundle and its symmetries. Next we introduce generalized complex structures, pure spinors. In the last part, we view the local structure of a generalized complex structure.
