ICTP-SISSA Quot seminar series

Dear all,

We plan to run an informal research seminar this semester, joint between 
ICTP and SISSA, on the geometry of Quot schemes on surfaces, with a view 
toward intersection theory and gauge-theoretic invariants.

The seminar will tentatively take place Thursday afternoons, 14:30 to 
15:30, and will alternate between ICTP and SISSA. Details of the 
schedule and topics will regularly be kept at

The *first meeting* will give an overview of the context and goals, and 
will also cover some organizational points. It will take place *this 
Thursday,  October 10, at 14:30 at ICTP in the Enrico Fermi Building, 
Room 101. *
