Cosmic Billiard Geometry for Neural Networks: from Supergravity to AI

Schedule and venue: every week on Tuesday and Thursday at 4 pm until December 5, 2024 (6 lectures). The first lecture will take place in Room 134 (SISSA Main Building) on Tuesday, November 19th, and the remaining ones in Room 003.

Abstract: The aim of these lectures is to present a scheme that aims at restructuring in a well-founded  geometrical set up the architecture of neural networks.   The scheme is based on the geometry of non-compact symmetric spaces U/H where U is a Lie group, whose Lie algebra is a non-compact real section of a complex simple Lie algebra G and H is the maximal compact subgroup of U.
