SEMINAR ANNOUNCEMENT

Friday, November 15th, 2024, at 15:00.

Prof. Peter Dalakov (American University in Bulgaria) will give a seminar on " Seiberg-Witten differentials on the Hitchin base and some applications”.
Abstract: I will discuss a recent work with U.Bruzzo, where we compute the Gauss-Manin derivative of the Seiberg-Witten differential on the Hitchin base. I will then discuss some applications, including evaluation of the Donagi-Markman cubic for the G_2 Hitchin system.

Venue:  the seminar will take place at the Seminar Room of the Department (Sezione di Matematica, H2 building, Via Valerio 12/1, 3rd floor, room 334).
