*Invitation to the 2023 Dirac Medal and Award Ceremony*

You are cordially invited to participate in the 2023 Dirac Medal and 
Award Ceremony that will take place *TODAY, Wednesday 24 April 2024 * at 
ICTP, in the Budinich Lecture Hall starting at 14:00hrs CEST. The event 
will take place during the Spring School on Superstring Theory and 
Related Topics which runs at ICTP in the period 22-26 April 2024.

ICTP awarded its 2023 Dirac Medal to three distinguished physicists "for 
their pioneering contributions to perturbative and non-perturbative 
string theory and quantum gravity, in particular, to the aspects related 
to anomalies, duality, black holes and holography".

The 2023 Dirac Medallists are:

*Jeffrey Harvey*, University of Chicago, USA

*Igor Klebanov*, Princeton University, USA

*Stephen Shenker*, Stanford University, USA

*Leonard Susskind*, Stanford University, USA
