Dear all

Prof. James Pascaleff, who will be visiting SISSA from the University of
Urbana-Champaign, will deliver a 15 hour graduate course on mirror
symmetry. The course will start on the *2**^nd  of February.* You find
below the course abstract and the schedule.

Title: *Topics in Homological Mirror Symmetry*

Abstract: This course will begin with an introduction to the Fukaya
categories and their role in Kontsevich's homological mirror symmetry
program, a rich geometric duality motivated by physics. We will then
turn to some themes of recent research in this topic, including the case
of log Calabi-Yau varieties and wall-crossing phenomena.

Schedule: *Monday* and *Wednesday*, *11am--1pm*, in *Lecture room 136*.
