Junior Geometry Seminar

Title: (G,X)-structures and (Higher) Teichmüller Theory.

Speaker: Nicholas Runghi (SISSA)

Abstract: In the first part of this talk, I will give an introduction to (G,X)-structures on manifolds, showing some examples. In the second part, I will focus mostly on the case of Riemann surfaces giving an idea of how some of these structures are related to (Higher) Teichmüller Theory and briefly explain how my research project fits into it.
