    ERC NCP Interview Training for the Starting Grants 2021 from end of
    September

The NCP ERC congratulates all candidates who have made it to the second 
evaluation step of the Starting Grants 2021. Currently, all applicants 
are being informed by ERCEA.
The National Contact Point ERC will organise interview trainings for the 
ERC Starting Grants <https://www.eubuero.de/erc-stg_en.htm> 2021 again 
this year.
The trainings will take place online in the end of September 2021. 
Participation is free of charge. *The exact dates will be announced soon.*
Registration will be possible at a fixed date to be timely announced via 
the ERC Newsletter (English <https://www.eubuero.de/newsletter_en.htm> 
and German <https://www.eubuero.de/newsletter.htm>) and our website

    ERC adopts new Gender Equality Plan

The ERC Scientific Council adopted the Gender Equality Plan

for the duration of the Horizon Europe (2021 - 2027) programme.

    Did you know?

/The ERC Scientific Council proposes further measures linked to COVID-19 /
Applicants will be able to declare delays or interruptions in their 
scientific work due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the new application 
templates for ERC Calls 2022. This information will be taken into 
account in the evaluation process, similar to career interruptions due 
to parental leave, etc. This innovation will also be included and 
explained in the guidelines for evaluators.

*National Contact Point European Research Council*

The National Contact Point European Research Council (NCP ERC) works on 
behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). It is 
jointly operated by the EU-Bureau of the BMBF and the European Liaison 
Office of the German Research Organisations (KoWi). The NCP ERC gives 
advice on funding opportunities under the EU Framework Programme for 
Research and Innovation. Support is offered at all stages of programme 
participation. The NCP ERC is the officially recognised contact point 
for European Commission Services and forms an integral part of the 
official NCP network of the Federal Government of Germany.
For over 20 years, the DLR Projektträger, as a competent service 
provider in the field of research, innovation, and education, has been 
in charge of the headquarters of the German NCP network and hosts the 
NCPs for all horizontal programme sections as well as several thematic 
NCPs.
The "European Liaison Office of the German Research Organisations" 
(KoWi) is the joint service platform of the German research 
organisations united in the "Association for the Promotion of European 
and International Cooperation in Science e.V.".
