ERC publishes Work Programme 2021
On 22 February 2021, the ERC published the work programme 2021.
In this call year, the ERC plans to publish calls for the funding lines
Starting, Consolidator and Advanced Grants.
The Starting Grant Call is scheduled to open on 25 February 2021 in the
Funding and Tender Opportunities Portal. Please note that the planned
deadline for submission has been postponed to 8 April 2021.
The Consolidator Grant call is set to open on 11 March 2021 and the
Advanced Grant call on 20 May 2021, with submission deadlines on 20
April 2021 (Consolidator Grant Call) and 31 August 2021 (Advanced Grant
Call), respectively.
The ERC NCP is at your disposal for any questions regarding the
application process. Proof-reading of proposals will be offered until 3
weeks before the submission deadline. For the Starting Grant Call 2021
this means that we will have to receive your proposals by 18 March 2021
at the latest.

*National Contact Point European Research Council*
The National Contact Point European Research Council (NCP ERC) works on
behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). It is
jointly operated by the EU-Bureau of the BMBF and the European Liaison
Office of the German Research Organisations (KoWi). The NCP ERC gives
advice on funding opportunities under Horizon 2020 – the EU Framework
Programme for Research and Innovation. Support is offered at all stages
of programme participation. The NCP ERC is the officially recognised
contact point for European Commission Services and forms an integral
part of the official NCP network of the Federal Government of Germany.
For over 20 years, the DLR Project Management Agency, as a competent
service provider in the field of research, innovation, and education,
has been in charge of the headquarters of the German NCP network and
hosts the NCPs for all horizontal programme sections as well as several
thematic NCPs.
The "European Liaison Office of the German Research Organisations"
(KoWi) is the joint service platform of the German research
organisations united in the "Association for the Promotion of European
and International Cooperation in Science e.V.".
