Dear all,
this is to announce the SISSA/IGAP algebraic geometry seminar,
centered on intersection theory.

The aim of these seminars is to study intersection theory following
the book of Fulton, Intersection Theory, and develop a working
knowledge.

SPEAKER: Riccardo Ontani - SISSA

TITLE: Intersecting with Divisors

WHEN: Thursday, February 18 at 4.30pm (Rome)

WHERE: Link Zoom:

ABSTRACT: This is the second seminar on intersection theory. It will
cover the second chapter of Fulton's book. The aim is to describe how
to intersect a divisor with a k-cycle on an integral variety.
Some properties of this operation, such as its commutativity in
particular cases, will be discussed during the talk.

Everybody interested is warmly welcomed to attend.

Best regards,
Andrea, Alessandro and Michele.
