Dear colleagues and friends,

This is an informal first announcement of the conference we are 
organizing in Buenos Aires as a tribute to M.A. Virasoro for the 50 
years of the algebra (namesake).

The conference "Workshop on conformal invariant theories: A tribute to 
M.A. Virasoro on occasion of the 50 years of the algebra" will be held 
in Buenos Aires City between August 12th and August 14th 2020, and is 
organized by the Physics Department of Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) 
with the financial support of different institutions.

The tentative list of speakers include: Horacio Casini, Marc Henneaux, 
Marina Huerta, Miguel A. Virasoro, among others. (A formal announcement 
with more details will be out soon).

On behalf of the organizers, I tell that we would be very happy to 
having you at the conference.
