Info-seminar at ICTP on new H2020 call

Dear All,

A seminar will be held on Friday 26 May 2017 at the ICTP on a new H2020
call of potential interest for ICTP researchers.

The call, WIDESPREAD-05-2017 (Twinning), offers per project around 1
MEuro over 3 years for institutional networking in any field of research
between 3 or more Universities/Research Organisations, one of which must
be based in the “widening” country list below.

Eligible costs are for example: Short term staff exchanges; expert
visits; short-term on-site or virtual training; workshops; conference
attendance; organization of joint summer schools; dissemination and
outreach activities. Costs related to administration, networking,
coordination, training, management, travels costs.

The network can include ICTP, but must consists of at least 2
internationally-leading research institutions in a Member State or
Associated Country (in addition to ICTP), and one institution  from the
“widening” country list below. Deadline of the call  is

Widening Countries list: :Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina,
Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia,Faroe Islands, Former
Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania,
Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Romania,
Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Tunisia, Turkey and Ukraine.

The WIDESPREAD-05-2017 call is part of the Horizon 2020 Programme

The APRE Info- Seminar at ICTP starts at 11:30 on Friday 26 May 2017.

The seminar at ICTP will be held (in English) by the Italian NCP
(National Contact point)
of Spreading Excellence and Widening Participation and SC6 Europe in
changing world - inclusive, innovative and reflective societies) Elena
Maffia.

The seminar is open and free of charge for ICTP and all institutes that
are FVG APRE members.
