Lectures by Don Zagier

This email is to inform you that Professor Zagier will be
at the ICTP from today (October 17th) until mid-December
and will also be giving a course/series of seminars at SISSA
during that period, with the title

   "The Arithmetic and Topology of Differential Equations"

The lectures will start TOMORROW, Tuesday, October 18 at 2 p.m. in
room 136 at SISSA, and will continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays at
2 p.m. in Room 136 until December. For people who work at the ICTP,
we remind you that there is a shuttle ICTP-SISSA at 1:30 p.m. daily.

Everyone is most welcome to attend: the series is self-contained and 
should be accessible to all graduate students, as it combines questions 
coming from different areas of mathematics. The talks form a series, but 
will be reasonably self-contained and in principle each one should be 
understandable even if one hasn't followed the previous ones.
