Sustainable Development: The role of international scientific organizations


Abstract:

In 2015, three major international agreements were signed, each of which 
will have a major impact on sustainable development in the coming years.
Science needs to play a major role in the implementation of these three 
agreements. International scientific organizations - including those 
based in Trieste -
must play a critical role in this process if these agreements are to 
achieve their targets.
