Seminar on W-algebras and Integrable Systems

Dear All,

This month at SISSA there will be a regular seminar on W-algebras and Integrable Systems organised by Prof. Victor Kac (MIT). The timetable of the seminar will be on Wednesdays at 14:30 - 16:00 and Fridays at 11:00 - 12:30, in Room 136 of SISSA Main Building.

The first talk at the seminar will be by Prof. Victor Kac on Wednesday, July 6 at 14:30 - 16:00, Room 136 of SISSA Main Building.

Title: Vertex operator constructions of affine Lie algebras, tau-functions, and W-algebras.

Abstract: I will review the notions mentioned in the title and propose a conjecture on connections between them.
