Abstract

The availability of large datasets has allowed scientists to probe the 
dynamics of social systems to unprecedented levels of details. We will 
provide a general overview of the main problems and give a few specific 
examples in three fields, namely:
a) Language Dynamics
b) Community Detection
c) Citation Analysis
