Speaker: Arthur Jaffe (Harvard University)

Title:  Spectral Gaps, Reflection Positivity, and All That.

Abstract:  We review the state of certain questions in constructive 
quantum field theory, highlighting some problems about spectral gaps, 
continuum limits, and phase transitions. Our aim is to clarify what has 
been done and to encourage new work toward solving open questions.  We 
also mention some other progress in the theory of condensed matter and 
quantum information theory on the interaction of Majoranas and parafermions.
