Professor Alexander Kuznetsov (Steklov Institute,
Moscow) will give a talk entitled

On Kuchle varieties

on Thursday, December 4th, 2014, at 9:30 am in Room

Abstract: In 1995 Oliver Kuchle classified Fano 4-folds of index 1 which can be obtained
as zeroes of regular sections of homogeneous vector bundles on Grassmannians.
I will discuss the geometry of the most interesting varieties from his list.
