Title:

Wave motion around shock layer and boundary layer

Abstract:

In this talk, we will review a universal mathematical analysis to
construct a linear wave propagator (Green's function) around a shock
layer or a boundary layer based on the precise wave motion structure
of the fundamental solution around a constant state; and the analysis also
asserts the precise wave motion structure around the layers. Those wave
motion structures are sufficient for  the nonlinear wave propagation
problems around the layers.
This mathematical analysis requires deep understandings on elementary
problems in order to form an unified mathematical theorem with wave
motion.
