Title:  Mirror symmetry and Ramanujan-type congruences.


Abstract:

We will explain why the fundamental units in real quadratic fields 
Q(sqrt(n^4-20* n^3+56*n^2-44*n)), n in Z, tend to be congruent to +1 or 
-1 mod 11.
