Abstract:
If quantum computers are built, then unknown quantum states which carry 
information,
should be transferredbetween different registers of these computers.
How such states can be transferred with perfect fidelity, without 
disturbing
all the atoms along the way? A quantum many body system, i.e. a quantum
spin chain can act as a natural carrier for these states, where quantum 
states
are uploaded at one end and downloaded at the other. We review the basic
ideas of this subject and introduce a scheme for perfect transfer of states
in two and three dimensional lattices.
