Professor Carlos Simpson (Université de Nice)
will give a talk on

Geometric structures on the moduli space of connections

on Friday, October 7 at 11 am in Room 005 (SISSA Building A,
ground floor).

Abstract:  We will review several different kinds of geometric structure
carried by the moduli space of connections on a smooth projective
variety, including a decomposition into Lagrangian subspaces;
mixed Hodge structures on the local rings at VHS; and perfect complexes
of cohomology.
