Central European Initiative
Unified seismic hazard mapping for the territory of Romania, Bulgaria,
Serbia and Republic Macedonia - Project 1202.038-09
Unified representation of trans-frontalier macroseismic data sets

ICTP-TRIESTE, ITALY, NOVEMBER 17-18, 2009
E. Fermi Meeting Room 101 (LIMITED PARTICIPATION)

Organized by the CEI Earth Sciences Committee mainly in cooperation with
the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) and
SAND Group

Scopes of the meeting are:

• to integrate all the macroseismic data available for the Vrancea
earthquakes
• comparison of isoseismals with synthetic data
• modelling of data and integration procedures
• to agree on standard procedures
• to discuss how the current initiatives can be extended
