1st meeting - Friday, 11 December 2009 - ICTP Main Lecture Hall

In the near future a significant amount of important data will be
reported from satellite and ground based astrophysical experiments as
well as the LHC experiments.
        
This is the first in a series of meetings representing 
a common forum for the numerous experimentalists and theorists from the
region working on fundamental particle physics, astrophysics and
cosmology to meet, exchange ideas, hear about the latest results and,
hopefully, contribute to uncovering the "big picture" in the coming
years.

13.40 - 14.00   Introduction to PACT by Bobby Acharya

14.00 - 15.00   Recent PAMELA and FERMI results and their compatibility
                Speakers: Emiliano Mocchiutti (Pamela) 
                and Francesco Longo (Fermi)

15.15 - 16.00   A theory discussion on the Pamela/Fermi with emphasis
                on Dark Matter and the LHC
                Discussion leader: Piero Ullio (SISSA)

16.15 - 17.00   The Current Status of the LHC
                Speaker: Marina Cobal (ATLAS Udine)

17.00           A status report on the Planck Experiment
                Speaker: Samuel Leach (SISSA)

18.00 - 19.00   Drinks Reception


The second meeting will take place at the end of February/early March 2010.
