TECHNICAL DETAILS ABOUT LSPM AND THE SETTING OF THE SIMULATION OF PO  
VALLEY HYDROLOGICAL BALANCE

A more detailed description of the model used in the simulation will  
be given.  First some examples of past and current uses of the model  
will be shown, then an overview about the calculation of the main  
parameters will follow.  Since for the purposes of the study a  
simulation will be needed, the characteristics of this simulation  
will be described.  Some ideas for further developments will follow.

THE HYDROLOGICAL EFFECTS OF CLIMATE CHAGNE IN THE PO VALLEY

Climate change will have some effects not only on atmospherical  
variables,  but also on the state of the soil. The state of the soil  
could affect several sides of human life, such as agricolture,  
economy and health. More in detail, the Po Valley area will be  
studied. A short description of the variables  considered in this  
research will be given. Moreover, a quick overview of the processes  
represented by the used model will be given. As a final remark, this  
study will be performed not only on an Italian region, but also in  
Korea, in relation to a Korean government project.
