                                Title

            Towards a better understanding of nuclear weak
                      processes in massive stars

                               Abstract

I will be discussing the role of nuclear weak processes in
the course of evolution of massive stars. After a brief introduction
to these processes I will be presenting few of my microscopic
calculations of weak interaction rates in stellar matter and discuss
their possible implications on the dynamics of core-collapse.
