During the ceremony Sarah Williams, Publishing Editor of the Journal of
Physics A of the IOP Publishing,
will present GianCarlo Ghirardi, President of the Consorzio per la 
Fisica
with a copy of the Special Issue of Journal of Physics A dated 27th

2007, entitled “The Quantum Universe”. The Special Issue contains 
scientific
contributions from prestigious scientists from all over the world, 
which the
IOP has dedicated to the celebration of the 70th birthday of GianCarlo
Ghirardi.
