POST NO. 2390 – DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS AND ELECTRONICS - LECTURER/SENIOR 
LECTURER (Re-advertisement)


REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum qualification is a Masters degree in Engineering.  The required 
expertise is in the following fields in order of preference: 
Telecommunications (i.e. mobile, Satellite, wireless-networks, etc), 
Control engineering and VLSI.  The knowledge of Matlab and/or Pspice or 
equivalent software simulations is required.  PhD and Industrial 
experience shall be an added advantage.  Expected to resume duties on 
1st January, 2007.

 

DUTIES:

Lecturing in the Electronic Engineering programme. Designing and 
implementing experiments in Electronic Engineering Programme. Research 
in relevant fields and supervision of students projects. Assisting in 
the department and faculty administrative duties as the need may arise 
& Be among the leading staff members in the Engineering Programme.

POST NO: 2377 – LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURER – DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS AND 
ELECTRONICS

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum qualification is a Masters degree in one of the following 
fields: Renewable Energies, Computational condensed matter Physics and 
Applied Physics. Expected to resume duties on 1st January, 2007.

DUTIES

Lecturing in both undergraduate and postgraduate in the fields 
specified above, designing and implementing related experiments to 
field of specialisation.  Research in relevant fields and supervision 
of students projects.  Assisting in the department and faculty 
administrative duties as the need may arise.  Be among the leading 
staff members in the Physics and Electronics Department.
