" Possible exact threshold for toric code of quantum memory "


Abstract

The error threshold of toric code, beyond which the stored quantum 
state deteriorates, is closely related to the multicritical point of 
the 2d spin glass.   It is thus important to accurately determine the 
location of the multicritical point of 2d spin glass systems.  We have 
developed a scheme to solve this problem,  which is likely to give the 
exact results, using duality arguments.
