Hi,

I've been getting the same error with my simulations. Now, I don't have a solution for you, however, I've traced the error back to the UrbanRadiation routine, in which the variable t_grnd is NaN. The NaNs then propagate to other parts like the multi-reflection loop in the net_longwave subroutine, essentially creating an infinite loop, thus no convergence of the algorithm.

In trying to track the NaNs to where they originate, I found out that some emerge in the radabs subroutine, but haven't yet been able to ascertain if that subroutine is really the culprit.

Hope this helps a bit...

Cheers,

Michal

Dear all,

I am running RegCM4.7 in non-hydrostatic mode with CLM4.5 enabled at 50km resolution. I have configured for Aerosol experiments. I tried running the model for new microphysics scheme (Nogherotto/Tompkins) but everytime irrespetive of how much lesser the time step I am getting the following error.

"urban net longwave radiation error: no convergence"

Thanks in advance

best regards
