Dear Dr. Vijay,

The issue you have has to do with TUVGRID2 file.

Kindly download it and place it in your CHEM_DATA directory. Use the link below for a previous version and try the provided dataset.
http://hydroweb.engr.uconn.edu/RegCM4-CLM4/RegCM-4.3.4/Testing/CHEM_DATA/

You may also change your command:

mpirun -np 1 ./bin/regcmMPI dcbc.in

to look like this:
./bin/regcmMPI dcbc.in

Only use 

mpirun-np X , when X is greater than 1.
