Dear Giuliani,

I hope you are working hard. I have some questions again and they are regarding the atmospheric levels. The questions (or clarifications) are as follows:

a) The number of atmospheric levels depend on (i) ptop (default= 5.0 cbar or 50.0 mbar), (ii) kz (default = 18), and (iii) the driving GCM. I understand that there is liberty to alter the model top and the number of levels in the namelist file. I would like to change the ptop to 20 mbar and increase the number of levels in order to increase the resolution in the upper tropospheric region. Please kindly advice me on this issue.

b) The sigma2p function in ./PostProc/ can only interpolate up to 11 levels, which are

         data plevs /1000.,925.,850.,700.,500.,400.,300.,250.,200.,150.,100./ [from sigma2p.F90]

it would be highly appreciable, if you can show me how to interpolate the model outputs to the following pressure levels which is based on (a):
           plevs /1000, 925, 850,700,600,500,400,250,200,150,100,70,50,30,20

Like I asked you earlier, once the fortran code is altered, it will be a big headache for me if it does not install properly.

Thanking you.

Before attempting read of the data, the ICBC program read dimensions
from "one" of the files. The filename where to read is hardcoded as the
"one" of the series. You can link any of the other files to the required
name to avoid the error.

ln -sf RCMDATA/HadGEM2/RCPXX/ta/ta_6hrLev_HadGEM2-ES[anyfile] \

RCMDATA/HadGEM2/RF/ta/ta_6hrLev_HadGEM2-ES_historical_r1i1p1_199012010600-199103010000.nc
