Hi Dr Solmon,

I added the idiag = 1 in the outparam, but the errors are still the same

Hello !

For general information, in the last release candiate regcm 4.4 (beta) , there is a new possibility of saving and outputing every term of the the temperature tendency (adv, dif, conv, turb, bdy etc ) as part of the ATM file. This option is enabled if idiag=1 in the outparam nameliste.  In this case there are 7 additional 3d variable in addition  to the normal  output containing 10 variables.

In addition there is also the possibility to specify outputs we want in the files using the logical table : enable_atm_var , still in the outparam namelist.

Now in response to James email :  I saw that in your regcm.in you have used the option to enable 17 ATM outputs by setting the enable_atm_var to 17*.true., however you did not enable the idiag option ... there might be a problem here, we need to double check.

best regards
Fabien

Hi,

I am trying to run a basic simulation with the attached regcm.in file, but I am getting an error that I cannot recognise that seems to be related to the SST.

The error seems to happen during the preproc of ssts.

Regards,
James
