    The VAMOS panel announces the <em><strong>CLIVAR VAMOS Workshop on
        Modeling and Predicting Climate in the Americas</strong> </em>to
    be held at the Laboratorio Nacional de Computação Cientifica (LNCC)
    Petropolis, Brazil, on 4-6 June 2012.   There are many members of
    the RegCNET community who are performing research on this region. 
    We encourage you to share their results by submitting an abstract
    for the workshop.<br>
