The Nelson Institute Center for Climatic Research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison has 1 opening for a postdoctoral researcher. The successful candidate will join an international research group in a collaboration project on the analysis and understanding of dust storms and land-atmosphere interaction in the Middle East. A Ph.D in atmospheric sciences or a related science field is preferred. Strong programming and statistical analysis skills are favored. The initial appointment is for one year. For RegCM'ers, a subset of this postdoctoral project will involve using RegCM4 to examine the ability of

the model to simulate dust events across Saudi Arabia and to assess the climatic feedbacks from the dust.
