We seek a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join a multi-disciplinary team participating in a competitively funded project. The project focuses on vegetation/land use-climate interaction in the context of climate change predictions for West Africa.  Applicants are sought with expertise in regional climate modeling or land use dynamics modeling. Prior experience with the ICTP RegCM is desirable but not required. The initial appointment will be for one year with possible renewals based on performance.

This position is available immediately and applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Applications, in the form of a single pdf file, should include a brief statement of research qualifications, curriculum vitae, name and contact information of three referees. Applications and inquiries should be sent through email to Professor Guiling Wang (gwang@engr.uconn.edu). Women and members of other underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply.
