Hi Marcelino,

ta is more appropriate for comparison of regcm temp output with CRU.

Regards !

Objet : [RegCNET] query about temperature output of land surface model and atmosphere model

Dear RegCM3 users,

I would like to validate my model results with observation. I'm just confused which of the model results temperature must be compared with surface observations performed by a meteorological station, would it be the ground temp (tg), anemom temp (ta) of SRF model or just the temperature (tk) of the ATM model?

How about if I'm about to use the average temp of CRU which of the said variables is appropriate for direct comparison?

Thank you very much in advance and more power!
