Hi Béatrice !

If you compiling with ifort or mpif90 your ibyte should be 1. However, if you have pgf90, ibyte will be 4.

I am compiling RegCM on a computer using ifort 
version 11. How should I fix the parameter ibyte then? ibyte = 1 or ibyte = 
4?
