Hi all.
Yes! is very easy the convertion of the netcdf file to ASCII file, for
utilization in Matlab or octave, but is possible read netcdf file in Matlab.
eg.:
Netcdf -> ASCII

If any ASCII data work for you, you can just use ncdump,
Note: there are two parameters which are important
add_offset, scale_factor~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
