Hi Libin,
It is assumed that user leaves the first month considering it spin up. Thats the reason by default first month doesn't appear in post-processed files. If you have started your simulation from 1990010100 and you still want first month, then you can set idate0 and idate1 to 1990010100.

1990010100,     ! idate0 = First date in File (yymmddhh)
1990010100,     ! idate1 = Start date for averaging and re-writing
2000010100,     ! idate2 = End date for averaging and re-writing

Also add the first month in the list of Output files in the postproc. It should look like

'1990010100',   !  1stRegCM Output File Extension
'1990020100',   !  2ndRegCM Output File Extension
'1990030100',   !  3rdRegCM Output File Extension
..............and so on..........

you can also change the name of output file  from 199002-199912 to 199001-199912 or whatever you want.

Regards
Imran

Dear experts,
I run the regcm for 1990010100 to 2000010100.
when i do ./postproc.x
i find the averaged file for 199002-199912
why not 199001-199912
should i run it for 1989123100 to 2000010100?
