Hi Mishra

In the line
'output',       ! RegCM Output directory
replace 'output' with the path of file which u want to postprocess. Remember that path should include the directory names and not the file name.

Similarly Make sure you have the files DOMAIN.INFO and DOMAIN.CTL in the Input folder of your model and OUT_HEAD and OUT_HEAD.CTL in the directory where u have the file to be postprocessed. Hope it works

regards
shahbaz

Dear Shahbaz,

I am very thankful for your suggestion here. And saw the site for the information there...

I have gond through the code and there is a file name postpoc.in wherein i need to make
changes..Say for example it my data file name is PLEV_VAR_06 (".dat" format) say for
June.It contains 6 hourly data i.e 120 records. Now it starts from 1994060100 and ends at
1994063000.so if i want to make chages should it be like this, Now should i give the
paht of the  input data here like '/home/xyz/regm/atmos/1994060100" instead of giving
just the name 1994060100 ...

1994060100,     ! idate0 = First date in File (yymmddhh)
1994060100,     ! idate1 = Start date for averaging and re-writing
1994063000,     ! idate2 = End date for averaging and re-writing
2,              ! iotype: 1=I*2 NetCDF; 2=r*4 NetCDF; 3=grads; 4=vis5d
.false.,            ! plv
.false.,        !
.false.,        ! Write out header?
.false.,        ! Write out all RegCM data b/twn idate1 & idate2?
.false.,        ! Average RegCM data b/twn idate1 & idate2?
.false.,        ! Diurnali avg of RegCM data b/twn idate1 & idate2?
.true.,         ! Continually average ATM data b/twn idate1 & idate2?
1.,            ! No. Days for continual averaging (-1=monthly;1=daily;5=5day)
'199406',       ! postproc output filename (not including type & ext)
'../Input',     ! ICBC directory
'output',       ! RegCM Output directory
'DOMAIN.INFO',  ! Domain Info Filename (from terrain)
'PLEV_VAR',     ! Header File name (from RegCM)
'1994060100',   !  1st RegCM Output File Extension

I think i will require some changes here in ICBE directory..Please make me understand
this code here as this is for the first time i am going through this one..I would
appreciate your help in this regard....
